Chairwoman Charlotte Perez
Since the beginning of Turning Point Action in 2020, Charlotte's journey in conservative activism has been one of passion and impact. She quickly became involved in their groundbreaking Students for Trump project and witnessed firsthand the potential for grassroots movements to effect meaningful change. Drawing from her invaluable experiences with Turning Point Action, in 2022, she established the Mount Vernon Project, a strategic department aimed at further advancing conservative ideals. Within this role, she collaborates closely with grassroots members of the Republican National Committee (RNC), fostering powerful alliances to drive effective initiatives. Charlotte has been actively engaged with the Arizona Young Republicans since their re-charting in 2021. Embracing the opportunity to contribute at the local level, she served as the 2nd Vice Chair in LD 5 for six months, lending her leadership and organizational skills to invigorate the GOP. Furthermore, she is part of the communications committee for the Greater Phoenix Republican Women, utilizing her expertise in media relations and messaging to amplify conservative voices and values. Charlotte's unwavering commitment to conservative principles has been the driving force behind her work. With each endeavor, Charlotte strives to empower like-minded individuals, build impactful relationships, and pave the way for a brighter future grounded in the conservative base. She believes in engaging at the grassroots level, recruiting Precinct Committeemen, and fighting for election integrity. Charlotte looks forward to working with everyone to achieve greatness in 2024. National Committeeman Luke Mosiman
Growing up in Arizona with deep family roots in the southwest, Luke Mosiman's political journey started with the Teenage Republicans during high school. Upon turning 18, he embraced a grassroots role within the Republican party, assuming responsibilities as State committeeman and LD leadership. In 2021, he was able to recharter the Maricopa County Young Republicans, which has since gained national recognition. Over the years he has worked on a variety of different campaigns and political projects, and is now excited to serve as the National Committeeman for the Arizona Young Republicans.
Co-Chair Rachel Hope
For the past 2 years, Rachel has been an active and dedicated member of the Maricopa County Young Republicans (MCYR). Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Rachel's political involvement began with the Tampa Bay Young Republicans before she relocated to Arizona and immersed herself in MCYR. During her time in MCYR, Rachel has run social media, planned events, and played a pivotal role in starting the East Valley YR chapter, earning the position of Chair of EVYR in January 2023.
Beyond her contributions to MCYR, Rachel serves as a State Committeeman and is in Leadership in her LD. Looking forward, Rachel is eager serve as the Arizona YRs Co-Chair to coordinate efforts among Young Republicans across the state.
Secretary Hannah Toth
Hannah Toth is the youngest elected Republican in the State of Arizona, serving on the Fountain Hills Town Council. She is a graduate of ASU with Bachelor’s degrees in Sports Business and Business Law and currently works at the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce as the Visitor’s Experience Coordinator. Hannah loves her country, her home town, and her Christian Conservative values and takes pride in serving the Arizona YRs.
National Committeewoman Katie Ward
Katie was born in Michigan but raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Katie earned degrees in History and Political Science and a certificate in Political Thought and Leadership from Arizona State University. Understanding the importance of education, she continued her academic studies with a post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Studies from Duke University. She has been involved in grassroots conservative politics for over a decade. Katie’s knowledge of policy and politics led her into the political sphere where she honed her leadership and team-building skills in the field and in the office on several campaigns and Congressional offices. Katie currently serves the Executive Director of the Arizona Coalition of School Board Members advocating for putting students first, traditional education, parental rights, and transparency back in our schools. She is a PC in Legislative District 14. When she’s not politicking, she enjoys spending time reading, sailing, and cuddling with her pets!
Vice Chair Matthew Martinez
Treasurer Trevor Lopez
As a 4th generation Arizonan, Trevor has always had a deep passion and understanding for conservative politics. It wasn’t until recently in 2022 that he stepped into the political field in working for Turning Point Action and falling in love with the mission and goals of the company. He also has a strong love for numbers and all things finance which has gotten him to where he is today. Because of this understanding of conservative policies and fiscal responsibility, Trevor will look to continue to grow and strengthen the AZYR’s in many different ways. In his free time, Trevor loves to cook and find new places to eat all around Phoenix or spend time with family and his two labs.
